With just a single drive unit mounted in the ported, egg-shaped pod, the 508s provide plenty of smooth, powerful bass. They sound great in a hi-fi set up, supported, ideally, on a decent pair of stands. But they also sound quite superb when connected to a top-end PC or Mac sound card. ...
